Security & Low-Voltage Systems in Toronto

CCTV, access control, gate barriers and structured cabling, installed and maintained by a Toronto team based in North York since 2011.

Low-Voltage Systems, Installed and Owned in Toronto

Security and low-voltage systems in Toronto work best when one team owns the whole job. IP Care installs and maintains CCTV, access control, gate barriers and structured cabling from a staffed office at 1 Concorde Gate in North York, on-site across the GTA.

We have done this work in Canada since 2011. The Toronto practice covers IP video surveillance, access control, gate barriers, public address and intercom, and the structured cabling that ties it together, tested and certified to standard.

Most of the systems we are called to fix were installed by whoever was cheapest, with cameras that miss the angle and cabling nobody can trace. We design for coverage, label and test everything, and hand you a system your IT team can actually run.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you install on-site in Toronto, or subcontract it out?

Our own technicians install, working from an office at 1 Concorde Gate in North York and on-site across the GTA. We do not hand the job to a random subcontractor.

How do you handle privacy with CCTV footage?

We place cameras and configure retention with PIPEDA and Ontario privacy law in mind, so your surveillance stands up if anyone asks how the footage is handled.

Is the structured cabling certified?

Yes. We run Cat6, Cat6A and fibre, label every run, and Fluke-test and certify to EIA/TIA-568, with the test results handed over.

Can the security systems tie into our existing IT network?

Yes. Because we also run managed IT, we integrate cameras, access control and intercom into your network properly, rather than bolting on an island system.

How is a project priced, and is it in CAD?

We quote in Canadian dollars after a site survey, based on the number of cameras and doors, the cabling involved, and the maintenance you want. The number reflects the actual site.
