Renting the Fortinet FortiGate 100D

The FortiGate 100D is a compact 1U firewall with 2.5 Gbps of firewall throughput, 450 Mbps of IPsec VPN and capacity for two million concurrent sessions. It has twenty gigabit RJ45 ports, including WAN, DMZ, HA and management ports, plus two shared SFP or RJ45 ports, and 32 GB of onboard storage.

The port count is what makes it useful: a small office, a registration area or a project site can plug its devices straight into the firewall without a separate switch. It is an earlier-generation FortiGate, sized for small sites and branch-scale traffic rather than a large event core.

We configure it to your policy before delivery. Rates start at AED 150 per day.

What size of site is the FortiGate 100D for?

It suits small offices, branches and small events. Its firewall throughput is 2.5 Gbps, and IPS throughput is 310 Mbps on enterprise traffic, so for larger crowds or heavy inspection we recommend the FortiGate 200E or 501E.

Do I need a separate switch with the 100D?

Often not. Its twenty gigabit ports can connect a small office or event area directly. For PoE devices such as access points and cameras, add one of our PoE switches.

What is the minimum rental period?

One day, and this item is quoted on a day rate. For longer commissioning or handover phases, contact us and we will price the full period against your project rather than billing day by day. Rates shown are indicative, per unit and exclude VAT.

How quickly can this be delivered?

Plan on one to two days between confirmed order and delivery across the UAE. That window is the pre-delivery configuration work: imaging, enrolment and lockdown are completed before dispatch rather than at your site. Larger quantities or upcountry locations may need longer, so share your dates early.
